As we= mentioned earlier this month, the Bulk API is here. Define your message co= ntent once, pass a list of recipients, and Postmark compiles and delivers t= he individual messages on our end. One API call, thousands of emails, and d= ramatically smaller payloads. We'll even handle send-speed optimization so = your messages land in the inbox.

This = month we're featuring Alex Kravets, CEO of = 100Hires, an applicant tracking system featured by Forbes as the best A= TS for SMBs and startups. When their previous email provider shut them down= overnight, Postmark got them back up and running the same day. Here's his = story.

Can you tell us a little bit about your experience and the work= you do?

I'm t= he founder and CEO of 100Hires, an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) that hel= ps recruiting teams manage candidates, schedule interviews, and collaborate= on hiring decisions. We serve thousands of teams worldwide, and reliable t= ransactional email is the backbone of our product.

How has Postmark helped you?

Postm= ark literally saved our business overnight. Our previous email provider =E2= =80=94 a large, well-known competitor =E2=80=94 automatically disabled our = account without warning over a routine address change. Thousands of our use= rs suddenly stopped receiving interview invitations, candidate notification= s, and password resets. For an applicant tracking system, that's a complete= service outage. We integrated Postmark and had emails flowing again the sa= me day. Since then, we've never had a single deliverability issue. Postmark= gave us back the peace of mind that our most critical infrastructure just = works.

How are you using Postmark on your projects today?

Postm= ark is the backbone of all transactional email at 100Hires. We send intervi= ew scheduling notifications, candidate status updates, team collaboration a= lerts, password resets, and account confirmations =E2=80=94 all through Pos= tmark. We've built a deep integration: we use Postmark's webhooks to track = deliveries, bounces, opens, and spam complaints in real time. We have autom= ated systems that detect inactive addresses flagged by Postmark and clean t= hem from our database. We also run delivery monitoring that alerts us to an= y bounce or complaint patterns. It's not just "plug in and send" =E2=80=94 = Postmark is deeply woven into our product's reliability layer.

What advice would you give other folks in your role about imple= menting and managing their email?

Two t= hings. First, never rely on a single email provider for mission-critical tr= ansactional email =E2=80=94 we learned this the hard way when our account w= as disabled out of the blue. Always have a backup integration ready to swit= ch to. Second, choose a provider whose entire business is transactional ema= il, not one where it's a side feature next to marketing campaigns. Postmark= 's focus on deliverability and their developer-friendly API made our emerge= ncy migration possible in hours, not weeks. Also, invest in webhook integra= tion from day one =E2=80=94 tracking bounces and complaints proactively sav= es you from finding out about delivery problems from angry users.
