This = month we're featuring James Seddon, founder of Sequence Tool= , a rough-cut editor for spoken video that helps creators cut repetitio= n, organize ideas, and export clean timelines to Final Cut Pro or DaVinci R= esolve. James switched to Postmark after deliverability issues with Amazon = SES, and now uses it for everything from purchase confirmations to account = alerts.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

Perpe= tually curious and endlessly obsessive, always chasing the version that's j= ust a little bit better.

Can you tell us a little bit about your experience and the work= you do?

I sta= rted out in product design and branding, working with agencies and collabor= ating with everyone from global nonprofits to rock stars. Now, building Seq= uence Tool, I get to do every angle: design, development, infrastructure, b= usiness, and I love getting my hands into all aspects of a great product.

How has Postmark helped you?

We mo= ved to Postmark after a frustrating period with Amazon SES, deliverability = was inconsistent and emails were landing in spam more than we'd like and cu= mbersome to use. After researching the options, Postmark consistently came = out on top for inbox placement and delivery speed, even above Resend and Se= ndGrid. Switching was straightforward, and it just worked. That reliability= matters a lot when your emails are the first thing a new customer sees aft= er buying.

How are you using Postmark on your projects today?

We us= e Postmark for all of our transactional and marketing emails, welcome, purc= hase confirmations, onboarding sequences, and account alerts like email cha= nges or unusual login detection. One thing we particularly love is pushing = our email templates directly to Postmark via API, so our Cloudflare Workers= stay lean and the template logic lives where it belongs. It keeps everythi= ng clean and easy to iterate on.
